Privacy policy

This policy explains what SchoolBihar.com ("we", run by TACHY EDTECH PRIVATE LIMITED) collects and why. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect when you send an enquiry
- Your mobile number (required), the class you want admission for, and optionally your name, area, preferred visit day and message.
- The page you sent it from, and approximate technical data (a one-way hash of your IP address, a random visitor ID cookie, the website that referred you).
We do not ask for your child's date of birth, Aadhaar, photos or documents. Schools collect those directly during admission.
Who receives it
- The school you chose, so it can contact you about admission. For partner schools this is delivered into the school's TACHY ERP Front Desk and by email.
- The SchoolBihar admission desk, so we can help you if the school does not reply. "Admission help" enquiries go only to our desk; we ask before sharing your details with any school.
We never sell your number, and we never send it to several schools without your permission.
Analytics
We measure visits with our own first-party analytics. We store a keyed hash of your IP address, never the address itself, and approximate location (state and city). We respect "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control signals. Visit data is deleted after 13 months.
How long we keep enquiries
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then deleted, unless the law requires longer.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@schoolbihar.com from or with the mobile number you used. Data already passed to a school is also held by that school; we will forward your request to it.
Grievance officer
Email info@schoolbihar.com with the subject "Grievance". We reply within 7 days.
